Mendip Vale is a Carnival Club Based in Wells in Somerset. The Creates a Carnival Float/Cart to enter the Guy Fawkes Carnival Circuit. This Circuit includes seven different routes based in seven different towns in Somerset. The spectacle is completely free for the public to watch and all funds required to create the entry is raised by the members of the club all year round. The Carnival commitees from each town ask the public to make a donationwhilst watching the event which all this money goes to needy local charities and organizations. Mendip Vale is just one of many clubs based in Somerset, Devon and Dorset who enter the Circuit. We believe our Carnival Club is welcoming and everybody is welcome to join in. The members work extremely hard and give amazing amounts of commitment to build each entry our motto though at Mendip Vale is "Win or Loose Plenty of Booze" which shows we beleive in hard work and also how to play hard aswell! Our entry goes towards creating one of the finest entertaiment events in the country and possibly the largest illuminated carnival in Europe!.
